We are a dynamic custom packaging company based in Pasadena, CA, seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining the financial health of our business and ensuring smooth transactions with both clients and vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile all financial transactions between the business and clients, as well as with vendors
-Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into QuickBooks and databases then filing hard copies.
-Ensure accuracy and completeness in financial documentation
-Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances.
-Recording any inconsistencies to help the accountants reconcile inaccuracies.
-Preparing employee wages.
-Managing income and expenditure accounts.
-Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data.
-Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial status.
-Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
Requirements:
- Proven 4+ years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software and tools – QuickBooks.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members
