```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and documentation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
```Qualifications```
- Aseptic technique: Knowledge of infection control protocols and ability to maintain a sterile environment
- Medical coding: Familiarity with coding systems used in dental practices for billing and insurance purposes
- Medical imaging: Proficiency in taking and developing dental x-rays
- Patient assessment: Ability to assess patients' oral health conditions and identify any abnormalities or concerns
- Assisting: Experience assisting dentists during various dental procedures
- CAD: Knowledge of computer-aided design software used in creating dental restorations
- Epic: Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as Epic, for managing patient information
- HIPAA: Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Anatomy knowledge: Understanding of oral anatomy and its relation to dental procedures
- Dentrix: Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
