We are looking for an Equipment Maintenance Manager with a strong maintenance and leadership background to join our team.

Summary: Manage Equipment Maintenance personnel to maximize production and related support equipment for sustained performance and capability through preventative and reactive maintenance techniques, minimizing downtime and making ready critical spare parts equipment inventory.
Lead and train maintenance/troubleshooting support for Blow Molding, Injection Molding, Tank Winding, Melt Blown Filter Machines, microprocessors and support equipment, including: MACO, parts picker, automation, fixtures, material mixing systems, cooling tower/chiller, and air compressors. Directs OEM and Service Vendor activity.
- Assess and determine appropriate systems to optimize and sustain production and related equipment for capability and readiness.

Prioritize and assign machine maintenance staff daily for equipment maintenance and repair tasks.

Initiate and maintain a preventive maintenance system-based program for Molding Machines, Tank Winding, Melt Blown Filter and associated automation and secondary equipment to include Grinders, Blenders, Fasti, Chillers & Towers, Material Conveying, and others.

Understanding and working knowledge of chiller and tower systems.

Maintain files and history on each machine.

Install, Relocate, Commission, De-commission new/old machinery and equipment as required.

Directs off-line maintenance such as: hydraulic cylinder rebuilds, seal kits.

Manages inventory level of repair parts, supplies. Works with OEMs for prints, troubleshooting, replacement part inventory.

Shut down equipment and machinery for safety, mechanical, or quality problems.

Perform maintenance and technical trouble shooting as necessary.

Initiates purchase requests to order equipment and repair parts on a timely basis.

Assures personnel and staff compliance with Company General and Safety related policies.

Calls for and attends Management Meetings as appropriate.

Maintains and makes available various reports, logs, prints, inventory counts, planning objectives upon request.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Previous plastic molding maintenance, set-up, and trouble shooting experience.

Able to read and understand blue prints, electrical wiring prints, instructions, and specifications.

Understand, evaluate and maintain hydraulic, electrical systems, pneumatics including programmers on equipment (microprocessors).

High School Diploma. Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Flexibility needed to work overtime, on-call and varied hours. Able to travel as needed.

Possess leadership skills along with being a self starter.

Able to properly demonstrate operation/cycle of molding and related equipment.

Able to efficiently and safely use machine shop equipment.

Excellent mechanical aptitude.
