Crum Optometric Group is excited to announce an opening for an Order Filler. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that our patients receive their eyewear products accurately and promptly. We are looking for a detail-oriented, motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional service. As an Order Filler, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing eyewear products and optical supplies for shipment to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
Accurate Order Selection: Carefully select and pack eyewear products and optical supplies based on customer orders and prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to product specifications.
Inventory Management: Utilize inventory management systems to locate, retrieve, and verify items for order fulfillment. Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain organized storage.
Order Assembly: Ensure correct assembly of orders, adhering to quantity requirements and quality standards. Prepare orders for shipment with precise packaging, labeling, and documentation.
Receiving and Stocking: Assist with receiving shipments, unpacking merchandise, and restocking inventory shelves as needed. Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to ensure that all products meet our high standards before they are shipped to customers. Address and report any discrepancies or defects.
Collaboration and Support: Work collaboratively with the Warehouse Manager and other team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Assist with other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned.
Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe workplace.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in order fulfillment, warehouse operations, or inventory management is preferred.
Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and proficiency with inventory management software.
Physical Ability: Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 30 pounds. Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
Team Player: Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
