Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
- Determine visual acuity and prescribe corrective lenses
- Diagnose and treat eye diseases and conditions
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in optometry and related fields
Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school
- Valid state license to practice optometry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
