Position Summary
As a plumber at ALNA Management, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has strong communication skills, and is willing to learn.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibility in this position will be converting homes from cast iron pipes to PVC piping as well as basic plumbing. We are looking for someone who is highly experienced in this specific task. An excavation crew is already in place. As a Plumber for Single Family Homes rental properties, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential properties. Your expertise will contribute to creating safe and functional plumbing systems that meet the needs of our residents. You will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality plumbing services to single-family homes tenants.
Responsibilities:
Cast Iron to PVC conversions: Convert residential properties from cast iron plumbing to PVC plumbing.
Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances in single-family homes.
Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues, leaks, and malfunctions.
Replace worn-out parts, such as pipes, faucets, toilets, and water heaters.
Install and connect water supply and drainage systems for sinks, showers, bathtubs, toilets, and appliances.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose plumbing problems and propose effective solutions.
Investigate and identify the source of leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues.
Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to assess and resolve plumbing-related problems.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training in plumbing.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge and ability to convert cast iron plumbing to PVC
