TNM is hiring a motivated individual for a clinical medical physicist position in Virginia. The successful candidate would have demonstrated experience in radiation oncology medical physics. The candidate will work with the TNM team of medical physicists on-site. This candidate will provide on-going clinical physics support and quality assurance for treatment planning, VMAT, IMRT, IGRT, HDR,LDR, SRS, SBRT, maintenance and QA, and other general clinical physics tasks. The candidate will be supported by TNM staff.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for advance treatment planning, QA, ACR compliance, calibrations, and special projects. Candidates should have great communication skills and strong analytic problem solving abilities. In-depth knowledge and understanding of current radiation therapy principles, methods, procedures, and techniques are required. Must have comprehensive knowledge of Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and standards for the provision of medical physics/radiation therapy to patients.
This position in the beautiful suburbs of Washington DC is at a state of art center with Truebeam, Eclipse, SRS, SBRT, HDR and LDR.
