The Packaging Technician will be expected to ensure that packaging personnel comply with company safety, quality, and standard operating procedures (SOP), HACCP and good manufacturing practices (GMP) guidelines.

- Exhibits proficiency regarding Packaging Operator Apprentice or Levels I and II
- Displays capability to lead, train, and guide Packaging Operator Apprentice, Levels I and II to achieve highest production performance.
- Demonstrates ability to select best and/or alternate equipment to promote performance
- Leads efforts assessing packaging equipment readiness and perform repairs of packaging equipment as needed
- Leads packaging 5s sustainment
- Complies with company safety, quality, standard operating procedures (SOP), HACCP and GMP guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Able to repetitively lift 50 pounds
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools
- Computer literate
- Demonstrates a high level of precision, accuracy and alertness
- Good decision making skills
- Able to use dolly
- Certified to use manual or electric pallet jack
