```Duties:```
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Manage heavy phone reception, scanning/emailing, faxing and other clerical duties
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays
- Maintain patient records and update medical information as needed
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers or specialists

- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as Nextech and MedEvolve
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple calls
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Please note that previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred but not required. The ability to adapt quickly to new software systems is also highly valued.
