Job Description
Accel Therapies is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The Human Resources Coordinator will assist and facilitate human resource processes at all business locations. Responsibilities include administering employee health and welfare plans, resolving benefits-related issues, and ensuring the effective use of plans and positive employee relations. The Human Resources Coordinator will also ensure that plans are administered in compliance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. Additionally, this role will provide administrative support to the human resources function, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry, as needed.
This full-time, hybrid position may require occasional in-person assistance in our McKinney Center.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring all required documentation is completed and providing a warm welcome to the organization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, HR databases, and documentation related to employee changes.
- Partner and support other departments/teams including operations and Talent Acquisition
- Act as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries and guide employees on policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support employee relations activities, addressing inquiries and concerns from staff with empathy and professionalism.
- Participate in HR-related meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Facilitate disciplinary action and recognition programs.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, keeping abreast of updates that impact HR practices.
- Compile HR-related data and prepare reports for audits or management as requested.
- Help maintain a positive company culture by organizing team-building activities and recognition programs.
- Support the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring a smooth departure for departing employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- A minimum of one year of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a healthcare or therapy services setting a plus but not required
- Strong ability to multitask and remain calm in emergencies
- Superb conflict resolution skills
- Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
- Strong knowledge of laws and regulations
- Proficient with Google Suite or related software
- Proficient in HRIS and talent management systems
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: up to $25 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications
