Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pre-1st / Kindergarten Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. This position focuses on Secular Studies, including English, History, Science, Math, and other related subjects. As a Pre-1st / Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment where young learners can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with curriculum standards and objectives
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior, respect, and cooperation among students
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students
Use a variety of instructional strategies, materials, and resources to enhance student learning and engagement
Assess student progress regularly through observation, informal assessments, and formal assessments
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student learning and achievement
Maintain open communication with parents regarding students' progress, behavior, and any concerns
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a Pre-1st / Kindergarten classroom
Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment for young children
Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom
Knowledge of secular curriculum standards and instructional strategies
Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources
