Larkins is seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. The Kitchen Manager will work closely with our Chef to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and efficiency.
**Responsibilities: **
1. Collaborate with the Chef to develop and refine menu offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
2. Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
3. Maintain inventory levels and oversee ordering of ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
4. Enforce strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage, handling, and preparation of food.
5. Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to maintain smooth workflow and timely delivery of meals.
6. Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.
7. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among kitchen staff.
8. Address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively, seeking solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance kitchen operations and menu offerings.
10. Assist with special events and catering functions as needed.
