Since our beginning, Leon’s Signs has been a locally owned and operated sign manufacturer and installer in Tyler, Texas. The source of our longevity is simple: our dedication to delivering high quality signage that exceeds customer expectations.
In 1946, Leon Graham returned to Texas and founded Leon’s Signs after serving in the Merchant Marines. From humble beginnings on East Erwin street in Tyler, we have been at our current location on the North Loop since 1965. We have over 20,000sqft of office, manufacturing, and paint space, and are a full-service sign manufacturer and installer. If you can imagine it, we can design it, build it, light it, install it, and service it. And we do it right here in East Texas.

OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Assistant to join our team. As a Project Assistant, you will play a critical role in our team's success by providing exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
This position is crucial to our daily operations, and redundancy is essential to ensure the accuracy and completeness of our work. We are looking for someone who can handle a high volume of tasks, prioritize effectively, and work collaboratively with others.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide phone and/or front desk coverage as needed.
- Assist Project Manager with fabrication and installation scheduling, locates, and final inspection requests.
- Process, permit, organize, and maintain records for sold projects.
- Ensure that any deviation from the agreed scope of work results in an approved change order.
- Attend regular meetings with all departments to discuss job status, needs, deadlines, changes, and any other pertinent sold job information.
- Assist with receiving and forwarding work, including maintaining contact with other sign companies and general contractors.
- Ensure that purchasing is completed accurately and timely per current company process, to include COGS and expense categories.
- Keep sensitive accounting and financial information confidential.
- Use logic, reasoning, and experience to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Fill in for other Project Managers or Assistants during absences or leave.
