Looking for well rounded, Journeyman level Ironworkers with atleast 4 years of experience working in the field as an Ironworker
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings to determine the layout and specifications of structural components
- Accurately measure, cut, and shape metal components using various tools and equipment
- Weld or bolt metal components together to construct or repair structures such as buildings, bridges, and towers
- Flag and Rig structural components using a crane, hoist, chainfall or other mechanical means
- Inspect and test completed structures to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
Skills
- Proficient in stick welding techniques, and knowledge of other various welding techniques a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately
- Experience with oxy/gas torch cutting equipment
- Ability to flag and rig structural components and equipment with the use of cranes and other heavy machinery safely
