Channel Development Manager

We are building a talented remote team based in California to harness the data from drone flights. Airdata.com provides drone pilots and operators an online UAV fleet management platform. We are a small team headquartered in El Dorado Hills, California, serving customers around the world.
Drones are quickly becoming a critical part of infrastructure that solves problems safely and with less resources. AirData is the largest and fastest growing fleet management platform, providing crash prevention information and live streaming for pilots and operators around the world.
We are seeking an energetic individual whose core focus will be nurturing and expanding AirData's Channel Partner Network, from qualification and onboarding to closing deals and identifying scalable avenues for growth.
What you'll do:
- Manage & develop existing Channel Partner relationships by providing ongoing training, account reviews and subscription renewal support
- Qualify and onboard new Channel Partners by scheduling meetings, preparing reseller agreements, building bespoke programs and activating reseller accounts
- Drive successful revenue growth by engaging with existing and potential partners on a regular basis via virtual meetings, trade shows and visits onsite
- Generate quotations and provide detailed opportunity data in our CRM
- Provide regular demos to new and existing resellers as their teams grow
- Design vertical-focused strategies with the sales and marketing teams that inspire partners to promote AirData
- Provide forecasts and statistics on Channel sales growth to management
Who we're looking for:
- You have Channel Development experience selling SaaS solutions
- You are comfortable speaking with and providing demos to all levels of an organization (C-Level, Sales & Support teams)
- You are a self-starter who takes pride in getting into the details, understanding customer requirements and identifying business opportunities
- You are outgoing and passionate about working with customers & partners
- You can easily explain complex issues to others over the phone as well as over emails regarding numbers and other specific details
- You enjoy working with a small team and thrive in an environment that encourages collaboration and problem solving in creative ways
- If you have an understanding of the commercial drone industry - that's great!
