S4 International Trade
Role Overview: You will be responsible for aligning and orchestrating a company’s Sales, Service and Supply Chain Management Lines of Business (LoB) processes and making sure that the SAP S/4HANA system is used to its full capability based on a customer’s business requirements. A second crucial role that is to define the integration points within SAP’s domains and non-SAP while leading the design, development, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA solutions within you’re the LOB workstream to meet business requirements.
You will work closely with the \ LOB stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into scalable, efficient, and sustainable solutions. Additionally, you will provide guidance and expertise to project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.
A key requirement is to have strong working knowledge of Master Data Management and Governance and the importance of Master Data to support business operations and reporting.
Required to have Foreign Trade Skills:
- Implementation experience in International Trade and GTS functionality in S4 System.
- Knowledge on foreign trade, legal control, declarations, licensing and registrations.
- Trade compliance master data including commodity codes and integration with O2C, S2P, MDG/MDM,EHS etc.
- Trade specific shipping documents and processes.
- Tariffs and Customs.
- Integration with Amber Road for Sanction party screening.
- Audit Reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Lead the design of SAP S/4HANA Sales, Service and Supply Chain Management LOB solutions, considering business requirements, industry best practices, and technical feasibility. Develop solution architectures, blueprints, functional and technical specifications.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and expertise to Sales, Service and Supply Chain Management LOB project teams. Collaborate with developers, consultants, and business analysts to ensure the successful delivery of SAP S/4HANA LOB solutions.
- Implementation: Oversee the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Sales, Service and Supply Chain Management LOB/Workstream solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems. Ensure that solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and address concerns. Communicate effectively with business users, IT teams, and senior management.
- Best Practices: Stay current with SAP S/4HANA latest developments, best practices, and industry trends. Evaluate new technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve business processes and drive digital transformation.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to SAP S/4HANA implementations. Proactively address issues and challenges to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business or related domain field. Master's degree preferred.
- SAP S/4HANA certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as an SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect, with a track record of successful implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules, including Finance Accounting and Managerial Accounting (Record To Report), Supply Chain (Procure to Pay) including inventory and Extended Warehouse Management, Sales and Distribution (Order to Cash), and Manufacturing (Plan to Produce) including Quality Management and Environment, Health and Safety.
- Implementation experience with SAP Master Data Governance for Sales, Service and Supply Chain Management Master Data including: Customers, Vendors, Contacts, Employees, Materials, Plant Assets, etc..
- Data Conversion and integration of LOB business transactions and Interim Process transactions.
- Strong understanding of SAP Best Practices, SAP Industry Solutions, methodologies, and tools (SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management, SAP Analytics Cloud).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and propose innovative solutions.
- Project management experience is a plus.
