Typical Working Conditions: Requires full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Involves standing and walking. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds. Requires normal visual acuity and hearing. Requires frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, bodily fluids, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
Qualifications: Graduate of an approved dental school and licensed to practice dentistry in New York State
Primary Function: Provide comprehensive dental care to Family Health Network clients.
General Summary of Duties:
· Provide comprehensive dental care to patients.
· Assist in coordinating dental service activities with medical and other services for the purpose of solving mutual problems.
· Plan, direct and review work of dental staff at the assigned center.
· Participate in local dental society programs to promote dental health.
· Assist in inventory control, ordering of supplies and equipment for dental service, for assigned center, in cooperation with site lead.
· Collect data and reports, as required.
· Maintain dental equipment directly and through contracted services and in cooperation with site lead.
· Assist in interviewing and hiring dental staff.
· Support Site Lead with supervisorial responsibilities for dental employees.
· Assist in scheduling of work hours for receptionist, dental hygienist, and dental assistants.
· Assist in annual performance evaluation of receptionist with site lead and submit written reports of the same.
· Assist in annual performance evaluation of dental hygienist and dental assistants and submit written evaluation reports.
· This position requires compliance with Health Center’s written standards, including its Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures pertaining to all operational aspects, furthermore this position is required to report any suspected instances of noncompliance.
· Maintain strictest confidentiality at all times.
· All other duties as assigned.
· This position will function as a contributing member of the FHN Dramatic Performance Improvement Model of Care to ensure that FHN’s Team-Based Care is the most sustainable, efficient method for providing high-quality, satisfying, and equitable health care to our patient population.

Pay: $124,800.00 - $152,131.20 per year
