Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of the construction and cladding industry. The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with clients, and driving sales to meet company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate leads and expand the customer base.
- Develop and maintain relationships with architects, contractors, builders, and other industry professionals.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Follow up on sales leads and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Address and resolve any customer concerns or issues promptly.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Gather and analyze market data to identify new opportunities and areas for growth.
- Provide feedback to management regarding customer preferences and product demand.
- Product Knowledge:
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's aluminum cladding products and services.
- Communicate product features, benefits, and technical specifications to clients effectively.
- Stay informed about advancements and innovations in cladding materials and technologies.
- Sales Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports for management, detailing performance metrics and progress toward targets.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and team-building activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction or cladding industry.
- Strong understanding of aluminum cladding products and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry professionals.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
