A new luxury apartment community in south Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- The Lead Maintenance Technician supports the Property Manager in maintaining the property in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community at all times. This involves ensuring a clean and well maintained living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Protect the investment of the apartment property owner by anticipating, identifying, and correcting any and all problems involving the property.
- Implement and perform preventative maintenance procedures.
- Cultivate resident satisfaction by completing work orders and repairs submitted by residents.
- Make apartments ready for future residents and assist with scheduling vendors and contractors for unit turns.
- Perform other duties as required
SKILLS
- Proven experience as maintenance technician.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and repairs. EPA Certification is preferred.
- Basic understanding of plumbing and water heating systems and repairs.
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.

GENERAL POSITION INFORMATION

- Multi-family maintenance experience (Preferred)
- Criminal background and drug testing required for employment.
- Must have a valid driver's license
