We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care and assisting medical professionals in various healthcare settings. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of medical professionals
- Administer basic life support techniques when necessary
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the medical team
- Assist with transferring and lifting patients as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related healthcare field preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Basic life support certification required
- Ability to lift and move patients safely and effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions from medical professionals
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour
