Pathways to Wellness Medication Clinic is an outpatient mental health treatment program founded in 2000 to meet a significant need within our mental health community. Pathways to Wellness is designed to provide a vital link in the spectrum of services available for primary adults requiring mental health management. Staffed by Board Certified Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Clinical Pharmacists, Psychiatric Nurses, and Licensed Clinicians, our clinics provide services that are intended to afford significant relief from the symptoms of mental illness, to facilitate our patient’s ability to return or remain in the community, and to avoid treatment at higher levels of care. Pathways to Wellness has provided 25 years of specialty mental health services to individuals in Alameda County.
We are currently recruiting for an Program Manager for our mental health outpatient clinic located in Union City. Our Program Manager oversees Operations, Clinical Services, Budget, Utilization Management and all day-to-day operations as it relates to overall office administration and management of the outpatient mental health medication clinic. Including but not limited to staff training, team development, performance management and ability to interact, inspire and lead a diverse multi-disciplinary professional team.
This position requires: hands-on leadership experience and keen executive functioning skills that are demonstrable and measurable. Bachelors Degree required. Masters Degree preferred.
We are seeking a Program Manager who possesses - Solid leadership, organizational, problem-solving, time management and training skills. A manager who is adaptable, ethical, who supports, as well as demonstrates patient-centered services, and has a proven track record in collaborating with others and fostering partnerships.
Office Hours: 8:30am - 5pm Monday - Friday ; some evenings and Saturday's based upon client needs.
Our Flagship South County Program, servicing the largest linguistically diverse group of mental health patients with diagnoses that qualify as moderate to severe as related to impairment. This generally paced south county program is for the community ambassador and coordinator leader who can provide solid support and lead a diverse team of service providers and medical office assistants, build on years of excellent service and navigate multi-modal service needs that typically involves understanding and being able to participate in linking and brokering services to support ongoing medication management visits. This location offers clinical and case management services, in person and some telephonic visits during the pandemic. The program is approximately one (1) mile from the Union City BART station and offers the ability to commute using public transportation or by car, located directly off of the 880 freeway.
