NOW HIRING - Assistant General Manager (FT)
Rolling Greens Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager working closely with the General Manager to oversee all interior and exterior operations, sales, and warehouse activities; ensures that all operations functions are performed in a timely, cost-effective manner consistent with established operations procedures and requirements. Aids the President in formulating and administrating the organizational policies by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides leadership, communication, and coaching to employees; cultivates a motivated employee environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and business ownership.

Possesses and maintains through understanding of industry and stays abreast of industry trends; communicates/incorporates information to assure all departments remain current.

Reviews the analyses of sales and operational activities, expenditures/costs vs. forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.

Plans, organizes, and directs production, administrative, and warehouse activities to meet or exceed established production goals in a cost-effective manner.

Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops department managers and staff; manages schedules and workflow.

Establishes and maintains effective revenue management techniques to maximize business revenues; reviews and analyzes financial statements.

Develops, implements, and monitors company budget; assists with planning budgets for all departments; oversees all accounting functions.

Enforces established safety guidelines; promotes a safe workplace.

Develops, implements, and monitors department budget; manages expenses within approved budget constraints.
-
Reviews and approves all vendor invoices; researches vendor invoicing problems related to warehouse receiving activities.

Coordinates with the departmental managers to manage personnel issues including but not limited to vacation approvals, time card approval, daily and weekly overtime, hiring, and training.

Leads crew by example by loading trucks and/or performing other duties as necessary.

Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.

Assists with general clerical/administrative duties as needed including but not limited to answering phones, filing, preparing correspondence and memoranda, copying, and mailing.

Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.

Develops, implements, and maintains processes, procedures, and programs to improve the safety, productivity, and profitability of the operation.

Implements and maintains DOT/OSHA and company programs and standards.

Reviews, analyzes, modifies, and implements efficient and effective department processes, policies, and procedures.

Maintains strict inventory control.
-
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Directly supervises 5 or more team leads within the branch.
-
Indirectly supervises up to 40 employees within the branch.
-
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
-
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent preferred.

Two to four years related management experience or equivalent.

Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
