SUMMARY
This position handles the administrative and clerical support tasks for the office and plant space. Flexibility and good communication skills are vital as this position is the face of the company; greeting clients, customers and answering queries of all who call or email the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain professional personal appearance, speech and attitude at all times to remain consistent with the Ninth Avenue Foods corporate image.
· Receive guests and visitors of the office with the highest professionalism and courtesy and provide the information and amenities as allowed by Ninth Avenue Foods.
· Inform the proper staff or office of the presence of visitors at the lobby for proper disposition.
· Confirm orders with customers and receive courier packages, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
· Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable with all necessary stationery and materials
· Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
· Assist with planning and coordinating internal and external company events as needed
· Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock
· Recording and maintaining office expenses
· Overseeing office services like cleaners and maintenance service providers

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree preferred, but high school diploma accepted with some college or equivalent experience
· 2+ years’ experience as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant
· Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing documents
· Ability to create organized filing system
· Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience with Microsoft Office
· Overachieving attitude and enhanced work ethic
· Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of associates and teams
