Our general/family dental practice is growing and looking for a full-time experienced dental assistant to compliment our team and work with us in providing direct patient care. Office hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
We are looking for applicants with the following qualities:
- Excellent communication skills with doctor, team, patients, and vendors
- Ability to multi-task
- Professional appearance and attitude
- X-ray certification and experience with digital radiographs
- Reliable, friendly and positive attitude and a willingness to work with our team and patients to provide quality care and experiences
- Knowledge of dental policies and procedures, sterilization techniques, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.
- Child Abuse and Background Check Clearances
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, anticipating needs and providing support.
- Utilize medical terminology and dental assisting skills to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain aseptic technique and infection control measures for patient safety.
- Utilize strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Stay updated on anatomy knowledge to assist in various dental procedures.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
