The Training Coordinator is responsible for conducting training classes for new employees and existing employees. Successful Training Coordinators are organized and efficient, know how to use teamwork, and can make decisions confidently. Successful Training Coordinators are good at public presentations, have a sense of humor plus they are dynamic and high-energy individuals. This is NOT a desk job—beyond the classroom training work completed at the office, Training Coordinators participate in development of new training information, resources, and tools. They conduct evaluations of programs; assist in development or revision of behavior treatment plans; provide behavioral supports as assigned and review paperwork as necessary. This person will train all over the state of Arizona, but primarily in Phoenix, Prescott, Casa Grande and Lakeside.
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have minimum of one year experience teaching adult learners and at least one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Candidates with no experience with our population will NOT be considered. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and qualify as a driver with our insurance carrier. Also, must be able to become a certified trainer or possess trainer certifications in required training areas. Applicants who have current TRAINER certifications in Prevention & Support, Article IX and FA/CPR are preferred.
