The Philadelphia Children's Crisis Response Center is a new program for the triage, intervention and stabilization of children and adolescents between the ages of 3 through 17, who are experiencing behavioral and psychiatric crisis. This continuum of care includes a crisis and transitional unit that provides brief treatment and/or stabilization in an age appropriate, family centered, trauma informed environment.
The Unit Clerk is responsible for providing support to both the CRC and CSU.
The Unit Clerk will:
- Completing billing functions.
- Assemble patient charts for admissions / transfers / discharges per facility policy.
- Obtain lab, x-ray, and consult reports.
- Identify and report equipment or environmental problems promptly for correction.
- Perform administrative not limited to:
- Dispatch messages to and from other departments.
- Distribute mail and announcements and post memos.
- Deliver mail (incoming / outgoing) for units.
- Ensure adequate supply of forms and supplies.
- Providing customer service support.
The ideal candidate will:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred Direct Care Worker.
- Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
- Administrative/clerical work experience required.
