Job Summary
Case Manager is responsible for carrying a caseload of approximately 10 family cases and working toward keeping families together. Provide linkage to services for biological parents to address the reason why the case came in to care.
Candidate will possess good communication (verbal and written) skills, professionalism, time management, and be organized.
Candidates with a Child Welfare License with DCFS in Illinois are highly preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish-Speaking) is a plus.
Responsibilities and Duties
Will conduct regular and ongoing visits to parent homes to ensure the safety and well being of all children. Will document all observations.
All homes are located in Lake County.
Will attend any and all assigned court hearings, meetings (both internal and external), prepare reports, service plans, and assessments within established time frames.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Social Services field is required.
