POSITION TITLE: Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper (Part Time)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing our financial transactions, from accounts payable and receivable to bank reconciliations and payroll processing.
SCOPE OF ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
·A/P - Processing, Validating, and Paying vendor bills
·A/R – Vendor Management and Collecting
·Invoicing – Preparing, Validating, and Submitting invoices to clients
·Reporting – Produce, Analyze, and Distribute various data and finance reports
· Federal, state, and local tax compliance
· Consolidate corporate credit card monthly statement by gathering receipts, match receipts to charges on statement, and inform cardholders of all missing receipts and request expense reports
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma (Degree preferred)
· Account experience: 2 year+
· Working knowledge of basic accounting rules and financial data organization
· Accounting Software experience (QuickBooks/Microsoft Dynamics): 1 year+
· Previous accounts receivable experience and knowledge preferred
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong attention to detail, Conflict resolution, and Communication skills
