OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
This position manages the Patient Engagement Team (consisting of Engagement Coordinators and Engagement Assistants). This role oversees the flow of prospective patients through intake and ongoing patient engagement. The manager will deal with specifics issues and questions the team has as well as working with the Director of Clinic Operations to ensure intake capacity is properly scheduled. In addition the Manager will be responsible for creating and coordinating an educational program for the team that includes industry, clinical, patient, competitive, and operational perspectives to ensure the team is properly informed, confident, and successful in their roles. The person will be responsible for Klarisana’s long-term engagement strategy with patients and provider referrals. Finally the position will be responsible for increasing our provider network that is essential to the growth of Klarisana.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-8 years of proven success managing a consumer focused “inside sales” team, preferably in healthcare
- 5-8 years of proven success managing ongoing communication and growth of provider referral network partners that are influential in consumer decision making
DUTIES
- Supervises Coordinators and Assistants in all aspects of their job duties, including top of funnel lead conversion, patient engagement, and referral management
- Ensures that new intake opportunities are efficiently screened and scheduled as appropriate based on the effectiveness of the consumer focused marketing plan
- Objectively reviews and implements strategies for both the patient engagement process and the provider referral process to ensure both are continually being improved
- Works collaboratively with operations, product innovation, and marketing to continually identify areas for improvement
- Manages elevated patient complaints, questions, and concerns and provides that input into the functional leaders for ongoing improvement
- Ensure the engagement team verifies insurance information, understands coverage limits, and communicates these details to patients
- Develops and implements strategies to engage with patients during and after treatment, collect feedback and success stories
- Manages the schedules of Coordinators and Assistants in Sling, including time off requests, incentive plans, and monitoring time cards each pay period
- The position will have part time responsibility for continuing to meet with prospective patients in order to stay current on market dynamics and trends in order to help the team continue to be successful
- Create a weekly scorecard that summarizes leads by geographic area, phone calls and scheduled intake screenings per intake coordinator, among other KPI reporting
- Develop and implement strategies and tracking for increasing and maintaining our provider network and referral relationships
- Assists in interviewing and hiring prospective Coordinators and Assistants
- Reviews Incentive Lists each pay periods to ensure accuracy and timely payments
- Evaluates Assistants to see if they are ready to move to Coordinator role based on performance and career ladder achievement
- Collaborates with Human Resources to complete employee review cycles
COMPENSATION
This position has a salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 + incentive bonus 25% variable based on performance
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Hybrid Based Setting, where the position will predominantly be remote but will include one day a week with the team in HQ.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Commuting to and from office location as required and agreed to in the hybrid role.
