Position Summary
The Truck Driver is responsible for driving and controlling truck and farm equipment in a safe manner, using good judgement with driving conditions and circumstances.
Essential Position Duties
- Transport loads over required route to proper destinations, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Perform miscellaneous service duties such as checking on a daily basis, oil, water, fuel, air in tires, and to report any maintenance malfunctions to maintenance department
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Inspecting vehicle/equipment for mechanical and safety issues
- Keeping in contact concerning current and future loads, home time, and any complications that arise
- Perform light maintenance on equipment
- Variations in workloads relate to seasonal demands, may vary between 50-75 hours per week. In addition, you may be required to work holidays, nights and weekends as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Dependable, reliable, and competent to handle equipment safely
- Ability to understand written instructions and procedures
- Ability to communicate on two-way radio
- Ability to function with minimal supervision
Education
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Valid driver’s license required, CDL certification preferred

- Ability to lift at least 100 lbs frequently
· Work demands vary between 50-75 hours per week
(Occasionally: 1-25% of the time; frequently: 26-75% of the time; constantly: 76-100% of the time)

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
