This role is responsible for both managing existing drug diversion products and developing new cutting-edge solutions to improve outcomes for both hospitals and patients.
In this role you will:
- Develop the strategy and product plan for new drug diversion solutions.
- Take accountability for your product area: identifying and prioritizing opportunities, building business cases, defining customer needs, and managing products through their full lifecycles.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, UX, QA, marketing, sales, support, implementation, and other stakeholders to create and deliver a shared vision of success.
- Develop relationships with Omnicell customers and prospects, learn from them about their pressures and problems, and help them understand what to expect from our continually-evolving set of solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine prioritized product needs based on insights from market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement, business needs, and collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Collaborate with your product peers to prioritize problems to solve, make trade-off decisions, and ultimately own the successful delivery of your roadmap, and co-own the success of the overall product.
- Develop communications material, value props, and high-level strategic justification to help explain “the why” of your product both internally and externally.
- Build effective relationships with engineering, design, QA, and a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, align diversion strategy connected health care automation.
- Build end of support plan for replacing legacy products.
- Plan for an efficient customer journey as they onboard to new solutions and products.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- A self-starter who can work independently and balance evolving priorities.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycles and the product management process.
- Familiarity with Agile work management and/or the ability to effectively communicate complex processes within and across teams.
- Effective leadership skills and ability to listen, communicate and motivate teams.
- Flexibility to partner and negotiate with colleagues and customers at all levels inside and outside the organization.
- Ability to interface effectively and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions.
- Understands the industry, market, and product/service trends affecting the organization’s competitiveness
- Keeps abreast of business, industry and market information that may reveal business opportunities
- Proficient with Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc.
Basic Qualifications
- 0-2 years of product marketing or management experience building products
- Experience working cross-functionally in an agile environment in the following:
- developing new products
- creating business cases
- creating marketing requirements
- participating in product launch activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building healthcare products
- Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations
- Hospital pharmacy knowledge and experience
- Experience with AI driven data analytics
Work Condition:
- Remote with occasional travel (about 10%).
