KCC is a growing civil construction company that functions as both General Contractor (GC) and Subcontractor. KCC specializes in and self-performs site utility installation, earthwork and concrete. Key Responsibilities:
- Heavy Civil program management and critical thinking
- Plan, organize and direct all project activities from initial budget to project closeout
- Manage project level financial aspects of projects and WIP processes for cost to complete projections and cost to date reports
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with HCSS Heavy Job is preferred.
- Plan and organize schedules/resources/procurement of materials for various projects
- Ensure assigned projects/tasks are completed timely and with high level of accuracy and quality
- Negotiate and resolve all customer/client concerns
- Monitor fieldwork execution and progress and report on productivity against budget.
- Estimate and negotiate project change orders
- Project document control, Request for Information (RFI's), Supplemental Information (SI's), Submittals, Drawing and Spec review, etc.
- Manage all project closeout and warranty procedures
- Effective management of project engineers and support staff
- Travel periodically as required (expenses paid)
- A degree in Construction Management, or Engineering and 4+ years construction management related experience civil construction preferred.
