The RN, Orthopaedic Spine will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients with orthopaedic spine conditions. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress. The RN will work closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients and their families to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients and their families to ensure the best possible outcomes
- Provide education to patients and their families about their condition and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols
- Current RN license in the state of Missouri
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopaedic spine nursing
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of orthopaedic spine conditions and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends as needed
