Essential Job Duties/CNA Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent patient care.
- Answering patient calls and determining how best to help them.
- We provide physical support for residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
- Assisting residents with laundry, folding, and putting laundry away.
- Providing housekeeping for the residents every week to ensure a clean environment for them.
- Assisting residents with eating (as needed).
- Recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as requested by RN or care plan.
- Reporting any injuries to the RN and Resident Care Coordinator.
- Observations of patient behavior, including complaints or physical symptoms, to the Nurse and Resident Care Coordinator.
- Stay up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure.
CNA Requirements:
- YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT CNA
- Current CPR (American Heart Association, Red Cross)
- Ability to think and work independently, and with direction, and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Current identification.
- Comfortable using a computer.
- Excellent personal hygiene.
Dresscode: Abbington Senior Living will provide all employees with scrubs that will be given to you before the start date.
Pay: $16.50/hr - $18.00/hr
