Frontier Door and Cabinet is experiencing tremendous growth with over 600 employees, with high market potential. We are seeking a Payroll Administrator who has a strong background and expertise in payroll administration to join our dynamic team. As this is a manufacturing environment, fully remote work or hybrid is not available.
Position Summary:
The payroll administrator's duties include ensuring the accuracy of timesheets, computing wages, and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Enter data and assist in the processing of weekly and biweekly Payrolls for approximately 600+ employees (Union and Non-Union) via ADP Workforce Now Payroll services.
- Manage payroll processing workflow to ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
- Process Prevailing Wage certified payrolls and union reporting as needed.
- Ensures accurate withholdings and submission of Payroll taxes and other deductions through ADP.
- Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing procedures to streamline processes.
- Coordinate with the HR department to ensure correct employee data.
- Provide information and answer employee questions about payroll related matters.
- Set up and maintain employee files.
- Must routinely meet tight deadlines.
- Assist with HR Department tasks as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Degree in business administration, finance, or accounting preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience working in a payroll office.
- ADP Workforce Now experience a plus.
Skills and Abilities and Physical Demands required:

The employee will regularly be twisting, bending, squatting, pushing, and moving or lifting 10-15 pounds. The employee will frequently lift and/or move 10-25 pounds.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
