SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
To include but not limited to:
· Manages the Team of Sales Executives to achieve the Company’s established Revenue/Sales goals and marketing objectives.
· Responsible for the daily activities of the Sales Executives (S.E.) around the sales cycle.
· Business Development activity around the acquisition of new clients and fostering lasting relationships of current clients.
· Represents the Company at trade association meetings; education opportunities, vendor opportunities (Mill Trips, AIA/IIDA Events, Local and Regional Trade Shows)
· Maintains awareness of both Company and S.E.’s client portfolio to assure a robust and diverse portfolio that can support the company during both growth and slow periods.
· Manages sales team use of a CRM to support the business development and client relationships management.
· Identifies & targets key real estate development & End Use facilities expansion/remodel projects within the Cleveland market.
· Manages social media campaigns that align Company marketing goals via regular postings.
· Supports V.P. in Vendor Relationships management
· Provides support and insight to the Executive Team during annual and quarterly planning sessions to assist in developing & establishing Sales Goals and related to Market Strategy.
o strategizes with Mgmt. around future growth opportunities.
· Provides direct support to the V.P. Sales & Operations related to all S.E.’s hiring and supplemental support for all other Sales support-related roles.
· Maintains their own portfolio of client’s that will support their individual sales goal consisting of the required % that supplements the overall company goal.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business preferred.
· Minimum of five years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities.
· Demonstrated skill with in-depth sales and marketing techniques and financial principles.
· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with co-management, and internal and external customers
· Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems.
· Ability and openness to grow both personally and professionally.
· Outside sales experience related to new business development in the realm of End User, General Contractors, and Architectural Firms
· Flooring Industry Knowledge related to the manufacturing of flooring products and proper installation of a multitude of flooring products.
· Valid driver license and ability to drive to and from office and clients.
· Strong foundation in detail-oriented organization – ability to manage a large project count and mix all the while continuing to sell and acquire new business.
· Timeliness – ability to organize daily tasks to properly prioritize client response, deadlines, and new account development.
· Ability to read blueprints, and accurately figure necessary labor to complete projects for quoting and completion purposes.
· Responsible use of time – D&R looks to hire responsible and trustworthy individuals who can appropriately manage and use their flexible office, field, and client work schedule to meet a minimum work week of 40hrs with standard work hours.
· Technology and computer skills including but not limited to
o Outlook (e-mail & calendar), Structure (estimating & PM), Callidus (take-offs), CRM, Excel and Word, Cloud related programs and any other related.
· Collaboration skills to work with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Assessment Goals – K.P.I.
Assessment goals will be established by the V.P. Sales & Operations and will be determined around the employee’s past performance, future expectations and company/team goals for growth.
· Performance in meeting Company Bidding, Booking and Invoicing Goals.
· Process Quality – assure that established company sales and project management is occurring per policy/procedure by assigned staff.
· Managing Company Key Clients – properly identifies each S.E.’s Clients and creates secondary relationship.
· Vendor Management – identifies key partners, assures reciprocal business and D&R Sales Rep interactions, receiving industry best pricing
· Industry Outreach and Marketing engagement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
