The Principal DevOps Engineer is a member of a high-performing team that focuses on the development and implementation of a world-class online learning platform (LXP). The Principal DevOps Engineer is part of a team responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining multiple large components of the LXP platform. The Principal DevOps Engineer will design, develop, support, and evolve deployment and operations infrastructure for LXP. They will create the systems necessary to effectively and efficiently build, test, release, and deploy software into scalable, reliable, and secure application environments. They will contribute to a culture of collaboration and openness within the team and with partners.
Typical Core Duties:-
Participate fully in the build, configuration and documentation of IT infrastructure

Ensure adherence to IT standards and service level objectives.

Monitor and optimize IT infrastructure.

Define and track performance metrics to ensure efficient use of IT resources

Design and implement robust and secure IT solutions

Identify opportunities to leverage technologies and improve processes/services and implement related enhancements

Support and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Draw on relationship and technical skills to act as technical liaison and mentor junior staff

Contribute to establishment of best practices
