Inventory Control Specialist
Job Summary:
Inventory control is responsible for maintaining records of parts and machines in inventory and on order, and monitoring reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock. This position is also responsible for reconciling discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities.
Duties:
• Monitors and maintains current inventory levels including daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts working with Sr. of Supply Chain and Inventory Management, and GM of Manufacturing.
- Inputs receiving and inventory information into the system.
- Ensures the customers receive accurate orders in a timely manner.
- Reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports, and reports discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Receives in purchase orders, tracks purchase order, investigates problems related to the purchase orders, and reports discrepancies to the supervisor and the supply chain manager.
- Receives in purchase orders, unpacks, and delivers goods, re-stocks parts as necessary and cycle counts stock, labels shelves, and reports changes to the supervisor.
- Processes and documents all return as required following established procedures.
- Monitors merchandise leaving a company’s storage room or warehouse and ensures all related documents, such as shipping documents, invoices, and purchase orders, are in order products are properly packed and organized for safe shipment.
- Makes a package for goods to be shipped carefully so that the goods are not to be damaged. Identifies and sorts out fragile parts and standardize package method for each fragile parts with SOP with photo images.
- Prints daily sales order receipts and cross-checks with the computer software to ensure accuracy.
- Prepares and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs.
- Assembles and fills boxes, including other cartons with items that need to be shipped.
- Affixes proper postage to each package in preparation for shipping.
- Tracks inventory when picking and reports any shortages to the supply chain manager.
- Processes orders based on the buyer’s preferred shipping system (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL)
- Contacts carrier and schedule shipping for each package.
- Communicates with Mexico branch when needed.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related projects as assigned.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED (Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.)
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
- Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.

- Software includes the use of Windows operating system, Google: Gmail, Drive, etc., All MS Software Applications, including MS Word, MS Excel; Mi-Mode; Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Intranet.

Pay: $43,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
