Job Description:
22 Marketing Co. is a full-service social media management agency dedicated to helping small businesses establish a vibrant online presence. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Social Media Assistant to join our team. As a contractor in this role, you will work closely with our Senior Social Media Managers to assist in communicating our client’s brand message effectively across various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and Pinterest. Your primary responsibilities will include content scheduling and posting, conducting daily account check-ins, engagement, and preparing weekly and monthly analytics reports with opportunity to grow into a Senior Social Media Manager role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Senior Social Media Managers: Engage with managers to understand client goals, requirements, and brand guidelines. Maintain clear and detailed communication throughout the project lifecycle to ensure client satisfaction.
- Content Creation: Assist in creating compelling and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including graphics, images, videos, and written copy. Ensure content aligns with clients' brand identity and objectives.
- Account Check-ins: Regularly monitor clients' social media accounts, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries. Engage with followers and maintain a positive and professional online presence.
- Analytics Reporting: Gather data and metrics from social media platforms and prepare weekly and monthly reports. Analyze performance indicators such as reach, engagement, and conversions. Provide insights and recommendations based on the findings.
- Lead Generation: Proactively search for potential leads and target audiences across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn and other platforms, utilizing advanced search techniques and industry-specific keywords.
- Engagement and Relationship Building: Engage with potential leads by initiating conversations, commenting on posts, responding to messages, and sharing relevant content to foster a meaningful connection and establish a relationship.
- Qualification and Tracking: Identify and qualify leads based on predetermined criteria and track their progress through the sales funnel. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and leads in our CRM system.
- Team Meetings: Attend weekly 30-minute check-in meetings with the team to discuss project updates, brainstorm ideas, and address any challenges. Participate in monthly 90-minute team meetings for training and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Social Media Management Experience: Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and scheduling for business accounts.
- Platform Expertise: Proficient in using Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest for business purposes. Familiarity with social media management tools such as Canva, Slack, ClickUp, Loomly, and Google Drive is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in content creation, grammar, and scheduling to maintain a consistent and polished brand image.
- Proactive and Deadline-Oriented: Self-motivated and able to take initiative in managing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.
- Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to collaborate with the team and clients, ensuring project requirements are met.
- Eagerness to Learn: Openness to learning and incorporating AI tools and processes into content creation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Team Player: A positive attitude, willingness to collaborate, and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
