Responsibilities
- Escort patients to exam rooms, prepare them for exams, and assist practitioners.
- Draw blood, handle paperwork for lab pick-up, and conduct urine drug screens.
- Maintain cleanliness and stock of exam rooms, lab, and treatment areas.
- Assist in medical record maintenance and perform front office duties.
- Dispense medications as directed and maintain clinical equipment.
- Perform ancillary tests as ordered and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure accuracy in tasks and documentation, delivering compassionate patient care.
- Manage time effectively, adapt to changing needs, and prioritize tasks.
- Seek opportunities for training and development to enhance care quality.
- Communicate effectively, listen to client needs, and hold oneself accountable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current registration/license in the state where employed
- Successful completion of UDS, BAT, PFT, FIT, certification
- Customarily at least 1 year of experience in occupational health nursing or related field
