Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate extrusion machines to produce high-quality products according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper product quality and production efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the extrusion process, such as material jams or equipment malfunctions
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
-Load and unload materials and parts as needed
-Check quality of product and visually inspect according to written SOP’s and training provided to the employee
-Work under general supervision, performing routine manufacturing setups, maintain machine conditions, participate in basic troubleshooting.
-Flexible to transfer to other duties considered necessary to meet the needs of the business.
-Always wear appropriate safety protection and ensure compliance with Health & Safety policy and procedures.
-Maintain work area to established housekeeping standards.
-Strive to meet departmental goals and quality targets.
-Help identify and eliminate issues with safety, quality, and production.
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE previous extrusion operating experience or similar equipment is preferred (at least 6 months of experience).
-Must have Degasification experience.
-Must be flexible and open to overtime.
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their operation is a plus
- Experience in machining or operating press brake machines is beneficial
- Ability to fabricate parts or components using various tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
-Clean background
-Can start within 1 to 3 days contingent upon background check.

Pay: $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
