We are seeking a highly motivated Account Executive - Outside Sales to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with clients, and closing sales deals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the fire protection industry and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Specific Functions to include but are not limited to:
- Answer customer inquiries
- Satisfy requests for quote by providing proposals and quotations to solve customer problems
- Process sales and obtain orders or contracts for sales, service & maintenance, and test & inspections of fire protection systems and equipment
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers through Customer Relationship Management, which involves regular face-to-face meetings with clients at their business locations
- Perform cold calls
- Follow-up on leads and proposals
- Follow-up on quote and contract renewal
- Enter work-orders, ensure proper time and material is listed
- Meet monthly sales goals
- Track sales progress and use historical company data to continually increase sales
- Assist in all sales functions as needed
- Perform periodic field inspections to assure quality of work
- Prepare quotes for maintenance contracts and system repairs as needed
- Prepare quotes for sales of equipment
- Assist in the planning and implementation of sales campaigns
General Functions:
- Communicate effectively with customers as needed
- Communicate effectively and work effectively with coworkers
- Keep appointments and show up to work on time
- Attitude and actions are in line with company’s mission statement, vision and values
- Show initiative by sharing ideas that may increase company profitability and help the company reach its goals
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience required
- Previous sales experience in the fire protection field preferred
- Valid drivers license required
- Excellent Customer Service skills are required
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts with clients
- Familiar with industry’s rules and regulations is required
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing leads, opportunities, and customer interactions
