Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care and medical administrative support in a fast-paced medical setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care and medical administrative support.
- Perform basic medical procedures including taking vital signs, EKG, and intake processes.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for efficient patient management.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals for specialized care.
- Provide outstanding patient service, ensuring comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in clinics is preferred.
- Solid understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems to input and retrieve patient information efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Fluency in Spanish and English languages is a must-have skill to communicate with diverse patient populations.
