Delivery Associate

This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager.

Job Summary
- The delivery associate is responsible for the efficient and accurate delivery of medications, supplies, and equipment to patient homes or clinics.
- The delivery associate interacts extensively with franchised pharmacy and nursing personnel to coordinate and schedule delivery days and times, as well as to prepare items for delivery.
- The delivery associate may also have a patient education role and may be responsible for medication and supply organization and storage in patient homes.
- This position reports to the pharmacy manager, at the discretion of the franchise owner.
- Perform infusion related deliveries in compliance with regulatory and compliance standards as well as in accordance with organization policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Required: At least 18 years of age
- Required: Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Required: Good interactive skills with employees, supervisors, referral sources, and consumers
- Preferred: DME or pharmacy delivery experience
Physical Requirements
- May require lifting over 40 lb. Example: lifting cases of patient supplies, enteral formula and infusion solutions.
- Will require use of latex products. Example: Clean and sterile gloves.
- May require moderate to high amounts of driving (extended sitting).
