Job Description
Premier Retina practice seeks an experienced Ophthalmic Scribe / Technician for our Orange County offices.
The candidate must possess the following skills:
- Previous experience as an ophthalmic scribe/technician
- Ability to complete thorough medical histories in an electronic health record
- Accurate vision assessment
- Take accurate IOP measurements, critical
- Use of OCT
- Use of Electronic Health record systems
- Visual Field assessments
- Terminology and uses of ophthalmic medications
- Ability to interact with patients
Skills that would be a plus:
- COA Accreditation
- Prior experience as a scribe
- Experience with retina practice
- Ability to perform PAM (Potential Acuity Meter) assessment
- Photo Imaging
