Under the direction of the Vice President of Regional Sales - West, the incumbent is responsible for developing and delivering exceptional training and onboarding experiences for a regional sales team within the beverage industry. This role focuses on developing and facilitating field sales curriculum, incorporating sales systems and standards, and aligning with good2grow's vision for growth and market share. The National Sales Excellence Manager will play a crucial role in the achievement of both annual and long-term sales objectives.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Uses the existing sales process to develop and enhance a best-in-class sales training and development program.
- Develops field sales curriculum and training, incorporating good2grow’s sales process, systems and standards
- Utilizes a skills assessment process to identify skills gaps and train salesforce to leverage the program to enhance execution
- Partners with key stakeholders within Sales Strategy and National Accounts to help ensure we have the training and tools to drive performance across all Divisions.
- Maintains business practice know-how and stays current on industry trends, market changes, customers, and the use of new technology to drive in-store performance
- Coordinates with Regional and NKA teams to ensure strong alignment on programming, PODs to maximize execution and delivery against all business plans and leverage to drive speed to market and share
- Collaborates with Human Resources and managers to develop improvement plans and lead the training program for the entire field sales organization
- Facilitates the learning of good2grow's strategic priorities for new sales team members by coaching and guiding them, creating development plans to meet 30-60-90-day targets, and corrects any performance gaps by ensuring prioritization of planning, time, and resources on key brands
- Coaches and develops the team of Regional Sales Managers by teaching backward planning processes to achieve targets and KPIs and actively participating in the planning process to help develop and deliver all KPIs
- Partners with leadership team to ensure proper training and tools are in place to align the sales team with the company’s long-term strategies and fiscal plans
- Stays current on industry trends, market changes, customers, and new technologies to drive in-store performance
- Introduces new employees to the Employee Development Program and coaches individuals on required skills to meet their career objectives and assist managers in building robust Employee Development Programs plans for the sales team
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 5 years of sales or distributor management experience
- 5 years of experience in training, coaching, and curriculum development Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to travel locally and by plane up to 50% of the time
