Hephzibah Children's Association is a non-profit social service agency located in Oak Park, IL.
The agency offers a variety of programs including residential programs for young children, foster care, intact, and family/parenting programs, and after school and summer care for elementary aged children.
The Family-Based Program has a full-time therapy position available in the Foster Care Program to provide family and individual therapy services late afternoon, evenings and/or Saturdays. Therapy would be provided to foster children who have a history of trauma and their families who are in need of therapeutic intervention. Therapy will be in person with some remote sessions if needed. Days and hours of work will vary depending on client needs.
Requirements include:
- LCPC, LCSWor LMFT eligible
- Previous experience with children in foster care is preferred.
- Experience providing therapy to children who have experienced trauma.
- Must have a valid IL driver’s license.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours.
- Sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the staff and client population.
