We are seeking a Structural EIT / Entry-level Engineer to design Water/Wastewater Structures to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week in our Tempe office. (This job is not remote nor hybrid.)

Perform detailed structural design, analysis, engineering calculations, and assist in the development of construction drawings and specifications for Water/Wastewater projects
- Conduct structural investigations and assist in the preparation of reports and cost estimates
- Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
- Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
- Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects
- Give direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with Structural emphasis
- EIT certification or ability to obtain
- Microsoft Office, Mathcad, TEDDS or similar analytical software experience
- SAP2000, STAAD or similar Finite Element software analysis experience
- AutoCAD, Revit or similar detailing and drawing production experience
- Ability to work in a team environment with the work involving studies, detailed design and engineering services during construction for a wide variety of projects
- Possess analytical and organizational skills to support multiple projects at a time
- Ability to learn, listen, adapt, and take ownership of work
- Attention to detail, self-directed learning, and meeting deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate work with other disciplines and production staff
- Willingness to try new things and be forward thinking, with a creative and innovative approach to engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with Structural emphasis
- Previous structural design experience (internship or full-time work)
- PE certification with structural engineering design experience
- Experience with construction-related engineering services with the ability to review Shop Drawings, RFIs, etc.
