We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Support Specialist/Manager to join our team and ensure excellent customer service and smooth operations.
Job Description:
As the Sales Support Specialist/Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining strong customer relationships, overseeing various customer service functions, and collaborating with multiple departments to enhance our overall efficiency. You will be responsible for range of tasks, including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pricing Management:
· Maintain and update product pricing in catalogs and price lists to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
2. Catalog Updates:
· Regularly update product catalogs with new items, pricing information, and comprehensive product details.
3. Sales Team Liaison:
· Collaborate closely with the sales team to facilitate transparent communication and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Provide troubleshooting and assistance for customer orders, account statuses, and relevant problems.
4. Logistics Coordination:
· Work closely with logistics teams to facilitate transparent communication and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Liaison between sales, shipping, and A/R.
5. Customer Engagement:
· Conduct proactive follow-up with customers to gauge satisfaction, collect valuable feedback, and address any concerns.
· Stay up to date with new products and feature launches to ensure the sales team is on board.
6. System Updates:
· Update internal systems with new product information, pricing adjustments, and crucial customer data.
· Examine outstanding orders and individuals customer inquiries to ensure nothing is overlooked.
· Following up on pending disputes/problems so they can be resolved in a timely manner.
7. Interdepartmental Collaboration:
· Act as a liaison between customer service, shipping, accounting, and warehouse to facilitate smooth day to day operations.
· Suggest sales process improvements.
8. Credit Management:
· Evaluate and issue credits in accordance with established company policies.
9. Efficient Order Processing:
· Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer orders with acute attention to detail.
10. EDI Familiarity:
· Utilize Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems and processes proficiently to streamline operations.
11. Collections Oversight:
· Effectively manage and monitor customer accounts, including following up on outstanding invoices and collections.
12. Returns Handling:
· Manage and oversee product returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
13. Deductions Resolution:
· Investigate and promptly resolve outstanding deduction discrepancies.
14. Exceptional Customer Service:
· Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally to uphold our high service standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
