This individual is responsible for the preanalytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of patient testing. Testing performed will include waived, moderate, and high complexity tests as authorized by the Director. They will report the results of all tests performed according to established procedures. In addition, this individual will participate fully in all quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and quality management standards within the department as outlined by the department, CAP, CLIA, and other applicable agencies. They will perform specimen collection as necessary.
MLT, MT, MLS and Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences considered. At least one year of relevant full-time clinical laboratory experience or training is preferred.
